The noise started this week rendering the drive useless, I've opened it up and made a video of
how the drive is behaving, is there anything that I could do to sort this out or definitely needs
specialized tech repair?

Solution
Sorry to say, it is dead dead dead.
It was dead before you opened it.

Drives die. All of them. Some sooner rather than later.
This is why we preach backup backup backup.

Whatever its condition before (it was already dying), opening it up has sealed the deal on its demise.

Before you opened it up, a warranty replacement was a possibility. Now, you're out of luck.

The data on it? That's what backups are for.

The hard drive was over 2 years old, there are photos and videos which I have no backup for, I imagined the needle was stuck and needed some help but it is actually acting like crazy going back and forth.
