HARD DRIVE TO GET

i am looking a hard drive to get that will be just as fast as using a black caviar 6gb/s. i dont want to get that drive because the price of them went up alot... so i was looking for another 1tb drive (cost effective) + a ssd i already have and use ssd caching.

You already have SSD therefore HDD has 64MB buffer and 7200 RPM or higher is best.
Ofcourse it will be expensive but good performance.

Ya want something faster, ya can grab a Barracuda XT 3GB but that performance comes at a hi price tag

And my guess is you are not going to benefit from SSD cacheing

Finally, another feature of a Z68 chipset is known as SSD caching which is where it allows the use of a small (say 10 or 20 GB) Solid state hard drive to act as a cache for a larger ‘traditional’ hard disk. If you are already planning the use of a Solid State drive this feature is redundant.
