Hard Drive Transfer Help

I'm looking to buy a better internal hard drive for my computer (It's a desktop) so I was curious how to clone my old hard drive to the one I'm buying to keep OS and everything. (Also the reason I'm asking here is that like all tutorials on this are for laptops)
