Hard drive unknown, not initialized

2 days ago while using my computer my secondary drive / storage drive disappeared. I can see it in Disk Management, but I tried to use MiniTool, but it cannot see the drive. I have attached a screenshot for more info.



Is it KIA or recoverable long enough to save a couple files at least?

Have you tried using Recuva or TestDisk to retrieve the files on your disk? If the app can't find your drive then it's an indication that the drive is not salvageable.

It's not a huge loss, the files are replaceable, but with a bit of effort. Boo! I thought it was odd that Disk Management can see the drive, but minitool did not. I will try those tools
