Hard drive won't appear in disk management

hi the hard drive shows up in bios and device manager in which both states that it's working fine, though not in disk manager where it just dosen't appear. i also just checked with that program samsung magician software where it also shows up

Rather unfortunate situation I believe, but not uncommon! I'd suggest you to first make sure that you have all your SATA ports enabled in the BIOS and maybe try swapping the SATA mode there (from IDE to AHCI, SATA or vice versa). I'd also check the cable connections to the drive and try with a different one or even change the SATA port that the drive is plugged into, see if that will get your drive to show up in Disk Management.

sorry i haven't updated this page. i figured it out. the drive had some kind of preinstalled partion i just deleted that. and it appeared
