I have this problem with what I think might be my hard drive because every time I try to open steam or a game on steam on that hard drive it gets spike lags very often or stops responding when I click on something and its something that started yesterday and I really don't know whats wrong.
But this problem does not occur when I try installing steam and games on my SSD but I can't have many games on my SSD because it's a small one.
PS my hard drive is an external Seagate one (i know they probably shouldn't be used for gaming but it was a cheap way to fix it at a time and it has worked for 2 years now)
PPS, if I need to buy a new hard drive, would a Western Digital Black WD1003FZEX 1TB be good for gaming?
