Guys I need serious help.

Just spent about $1k for a new build and the system hard locks while gaming. Not even a BSOD.
Also just watched some youtube on full screen and experienced a lock.

Its just so weird as there are times where I play Crysis 3 for 2hrs+ without a lock, and then other times I watch a 5 minute youtube video only to get a hard lock...

I am at a COMPLETE loss here.

I updated GPU drivers, etc. Heating is definitely not a problem as CPU has yet to pass 45 degrees. (Have Hyper 212 cooler) GPU has never passed 60 degrees.

What could be the problem here?

My Spec:

MOBO : GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
PSU: Seasonic X750 Gold
CPU: AMD FX8350 Vishera
RAM: Gskill Ripjaws 1600mhz 8gb.
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128gb
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
GPU: Sapphire 7950

Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate.

No errors on Dxdiag.

Ram timings and voltages are standard and what they should be for Gskill Ripjaws.

Could a bad hard drive cause this?

K guys. Solved the problem.

I set the minimum processor state to 100% from 5% and hasn't been freezing/hard locking ever since.

Edit: From the Power Options.
