Hard rive

i added a 2nd hard drive to my dell inspiron 537s desktop. how can i tell if it is working, if its not how do i make it active. thanks, bill

If its working as it should then you just go into "my computer" and check if it sees the drive

Go to Start, right click on My Computer, and go to Computer Management. From there, expand storage if necessary and go to Disk Management. You may then see your new Disk in there, which may need to be initialized and formatted (if it's empty and does not yet have a file system on it). You can initialize/format if you right click on it.

...that is, if the above post doesn't show the drive.
