HardAvenue reviews new HIS X800s

A little basic, but gives a good look at the layout and performance difference between the two cards and the R9800XT.

Their comments on the new VGA Silencer3 are like those of a nOOb Dell MX/SE buyer :evil: ;

<i><font color=blue>"Of course, looks mean very little once the card is plugged in and operating face down in a tower case, if anything cosmetic enhancements should be done to the back of the card so it is atleast visible, however the point remains that the impression you get from the IceQ II is a confident one, but whether or not you'd pay extra for it is a matter of personal taste. As it stands, it is possible to find HIS X800XT and HIS X800Pro cards without the IceQ II for a little cheaper, but if you're going this high end anyway, you may as well go in style."</font color=blue></i>

Completely ignore the fact that the VGA silencers are some of the BEST HSF assemblies out there (beside modermade hacked PIII coolers etc).

They didn't even OC them! Jeez! 😱
