For video editing in less than an hour and playing hardcore video games like Crysis and BF4. This is not my first build i just want to know what you guys think and how i can improve it. The build itself is 3.5K and the extras are 500$. This is for YouTubing just to let you guys know.

i would say it is unwise to buy a 290x before aftermarket coolers comout or if you plan on watercooling it because it runs at 95 degrees at medium gaming. the 780 can be overclocked higher than it and crossfire has well known frame stuttering issues and dropped frames. they did improve it with the r series but sli is still better than crossfire.

Hoenstly...The only thing i could say you could do to improve it is either

1) Get two SSD's and do a Raid 0 on them. Don't keep any info you can live without on it though.

2) Get another R9 290X

3) Get a bigger PSU (Maybe like 1000 Watts) for future upgrades.

Thats it. As it is thats how i would set it up. Well I'd go with Nvidia but thats personal preference. But that my friend is a killer machine.

Im not doing any future upgrades until a new games that an r9 290x cant even handle. But that will be in like 5 years. And i also have another SSD from an old build i can add. Also another R9 290x will go over the budget limit.

I need to save 500$ for the peripherals. And my monitors are the same as those. Other than that, its a pretty good build. I might take away 1 780 and replace with the peripherals.
