I have an seagete barracuda harddisk which is 3-4 years old. Couple of moths ago it stated acting up weird like my drive will disappear all of the sudden from the file explorer or my 2 partitions F and G drivers will pop up(The file explorer window). This happens even when I am not using the drive at all.

One time I was watching a movie which was in that drive the media player just stopped. When I tried to copy files from the croupt harddisk to another drive It gave me this error "0x80070037 ".

I have tried the minitool partition to do a surface test Nearly 90% of the sectors came as read error.

Things I have done so far,
  1. change the sata data cable.
  2. Verified the health in couple of software (Both showed good) Softwares are Harddisk sentinal , disk genius.

I have attached some Screenshots below too

Ryzen 3 2200g (which has burnt pin but it works idk how, this proble was there even before I found the burnt pin)

Asus b450f gaming

drives die all the time...

You can try swapping SATA power cables with any other SATA SSD or drive as well, just to rule out a marginal cable causing the drive to come on/off-line on it's own...

Does CrystalDiskInfo show the problematic Seagate in yellow health status with reallocated sectors, etc.?

If so, it's likely done for as far as what limited trust we placed in it's health anyway, as any drive should be considered a proverbial harbinger of immediate doom as far as data integrity/trust in it's longevity/serviceability goes...
