Harddisk Problem, it is detected but cannot copy file to it

Just like the title said, my external hard disk is Trancend StoreJet 1 TB

only in my laptop i cant copy files to it, on other laptop is fine

and only on this hard disk i cannot copy file to it, it is flashing thou but for a while then the copying process stopped and stuck in half percent

its fine when i copy file from it thou

can anyone help please

the file system is NTFS

Have you checked the Security permissions of the drive / folders?

Hi there Nightowl085,

As the drive is recognized on another system, you can just back up the data stored on it.
After that, run some tests: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

If the drive is in a good condition, attach it to the laptop in question and reformat it through Disk Management. See if the issue persists.
