Harddisk will not load

Hi,

Background: Bought new power supply (thermaltake toughpower 650G), new heat sink (Hydra T4) and new case (solidgear g5).

After installation, hard drive is recognized, but it will not load as it drops from grub; the uuid is not found.

I am trying to avoid installing Xubuntu and losing my data. Is there a way to fix grub so that it recognizes the hard disk?

[SOLVED] Turns out that system pins on motherboard were not attached appropriately. Specifically, PLED+. Once set correctly, system booted without a problem.
