I have read other threads about this but I'm still unsure. I've had my PC slow down one day out of the blue after I moved it from one place to another which makes me believe I damaged something inside. I've had the PC for about 6-7 years. I also saw that it's been using 100% disk usage on startup and when I had no programs running.
Just to be sure, I tried stuff reccomended on other threads such as disableing superfetch but that hadn't worked.
I ran the chkdsk command (which showed no errors) and scanned using Seagates tools (which had froze).
To be completely sure, I tried doing a complete reset which had failed (which has to mean something). Should I buy a new hard drive now for certain? (I want to start drawing on my PC again as soon as possible so I'll probably try to fix it when I have the money asap).
