quick question might be a stupid one.

My brothers laptop stopped workin. i sent it for repair in at a local pc repair shop and was told it needed a new hardrive. The problem was that when he bought the Advent Modena M101 laptop, windows 7 home premium 32 bit was pre-installed. He didnt make a back up cd. How can he get windows 7 back on to his laptop, he has the product key.

Any help would be great.

thanks

dont do that, its ilegal

besides you can download a copy legally of the internet and activate it

search for rtwincustomise

they have customised version's of win7 on there. download burn to disk then activate using your key

Are you sure its illegal?

Any non-cracked windows iso you download will have the same content as the installation disk.

In fact your more likely to get an illegal copy if you download it as they tend to be cracked or modified copies.

Hi :)

In the UK its illegal to do that...its £5000 FINE if I sold a "copy" of a Windows disc to a customer...(with or without a number) so we dont do it obviously....

All the best Brett :)
