[SOLVED] Hardware acceleration is safe to use for local recordings?

Trying to capture some gaming footage, unfortunately x264 takes too much on CPU even with UltraFast, should I use NVENC(nvidia) to record games? Is it safe to use in terms of stability and crashes when saving the file that I recorded?

Yes, it's safe especially if you use gforce now.
If you have an intel CPU with igpu you can use that so that you don't lose any FPS.
