Hardware acceleration on win 7 ultimate dx error

hi

i m from greece and yesterday i bought lotr bfme 1 game and i install it in my computer.When i go to play it it shows me dx error"hardware accelaration disabled".i know what is hardware accelaration and i go to control panel>screen resolution>advanced>troubleshuting>and the button is unclickable! :fou:

i have the latest drivers of my video card and proccesor and i always update my windows,what i should do??????? :(

my pc has:

intel atom n270 1.60 ghz

intel gma 950 256mb video

1gb ram

160 hd

win 7

and the game needs:

1.3ghz

256mb ram

3gb hd

32mb video

In my friend pc who has the same with me sweat:

+1 ^ your system was made for basic tasks like documents and web browsing, not games. The game you are trying to play, even if ever installs on your system, will run like a slide show. Even facebook games will stutter on the system. From your specs you are trying to play this on a Netbook, you should get a cheap regular PC to play games on. Even a later model Pentium4 system with 2 gig of RAM and a low range video card will play games better than your laptop. Should cost about 200 used somewhere.
 
In theory it should work as the GMA950 is more powerful then the recommended GF2 or ATI7500 and you have enough memory and cpu is ok.

This leads us down the route of iffy drivers, download the latest drivers off the Intel website.

Accept licence agreement, download and install.

I am afraid your computer hardware isn't good enough to run this game. You can have a quick check at your DX versions using this simple tool and update your DirectX to the proper version easily. ;) Hope this helps you solve the issue. Still it's better that you update your computer a bit for smoother game playing.
