Hey there my fellow PC peeps!

I'll get right down to it: I have the option of buying a Dell Optiplex 990 (not SFF) for about $400.
Specs as follows:
- Intel Core i5-2500 @ 3.30GHz
- 8GB RAM
- 250GB SSD
- Win 10 Pro refurb license

I then want to buy an ASUS GTX 1050 Ti 4GB and add it to my setup.

All this being said, the question is: Is this a game-worthy setup?
I am mostly into Esports games like PUBG, Fortnite, League of Legends etc.

I checked on www.game-debate.com and my components scored pretty high!
Here's the link: https://bit.ly/2uj4aIE

Another thing, I can upgrade my RAM to 16GB for free, have some spare modules lying around.

Any and all feedback will be appreciated!

400 dollars? ask 250

The thing is, I live in South Africa where PC components, especially gaming components are hella expensive!
The ASUS GTX 1050 Ti is roughly $220.

Plus, shipping to SA is near impossible, or so I've been told.

AMD RYZEN 3 1300X Processor with Wraith cooler = $156
MSI B350 TOMAHAWK AMD AM4 RYZEN Motherboard = $140

Intel 8th Gen Core i3-8100 Coffee Lake = $150
MSI B360 Gaming Plus = $138

defenetly go the intel route, 1 its by far superior and its even cheaper.

now you need 2x4gb ddr4 ram
1tb hdd or what i would do... buy a 250 gb ssd and add 1tb later
buy a case
buy a powersupply( a good one (important!!))

add the graphcis card later , oneboard graphcis are fine for a while totally playable..
