I am trying to install Windows 2000 Professional on my computer. I now have a problem, each time the setup enters the stage where they try to detect devices and install their drivers, I get a bluescreen halfway through for quite some time after my screen flickers, stating that there is a hardware malfunction, system halted. I'm stuck. Despite trying to reboot to go through the setup again, the same thing happens. I'm stagnant now and I can't do anything with my computer. HELP ME!!!

does all your hardware meet the minimum requirements for win2k? Also, is it on the hardware compatibility list? what video card are you using?

ignore everything i say

Specifications of my PC :
MSI K7T PRO 2-A, VIA KT133 Chipset
AMD Duron 799 MHz, 128 SDRAM, nVIDIA geforce2 256,

I have sort of the same problem, but instead of mine freezing my computer will keep rebooting at the same exact point. Any idea?
