Hardware failure or just mistaking !

Hey guys I'm new to this forum so please forgive my mistakes.
I just build a new pic
Specs :
Gtx 1070 (stock)
I5 6600k (stock)
16 gb ddr4 crucial ballistics ram
2 tb drive
Msi night elf mobo ( going to get a z170 , builders mistake -_- )
600 watt Evga psu

I installed all the latest drivers but my games are not running smooth on my lg ultra wide ( 2556 x 1080 )

The benchmarks I ran , like heaven and more , were smooth.

I tried to install Windows 7 but that didn't work for some reason. So I now have Windows 8

I though I had very decent hardware or am I mistaking. Call of duty black ops 3 is running on 30 fps most of the time. I think that it should be at least 60 fps on extra settings.

Can someone help me ?

I have an I5 4570 on DDR3 with a GTX 970 and I play BO3 and I get 145FPS I think you have settings wrong
