I built my computer about 15 months ago. Never had a problem I couldn't fix. This one is completely over my head.

Yesterday I started encountering a problem with Google Chrome where pages wouldn't load. I had to refresh every other page. This morning I come on and 100% of the time I can't get any pages to load. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. It told me "Properties were Missing" and the browser could not launch. Tried installing Mozilla and same thing. IE worked fine but after restarting the computer, IE would not display any web pages. I reset my IP through CMD prompt to no avail. Disabled anti-virus, firewall, nothing. My connection is fine, I'm typing this through a 2nd computer. My wireless router has been working perfectly for the past year.

Unfortunately I could not do anything beyond that because after one more restart, a black screen popped up. Bottom right was an icon for shutting down, sleep, or restarting my computer. Bottom left was an icon for changing my icon's picture among other miscellaneous icon things. I've tried Windows Repair and it's told me there's a hardware problem. I went to Memory Diagnostics and it's told me Hardware problem again.

Can anyone help me with this? I've tried using a different SATA cable, making sure the cables connected to my motherboard is secured. Tried dusting my hardware, took out my 2 internal hard drives. The problem persists and I have no clue what to do.

You can try booting into safe mode. If you can get into safe mode attempt to do a system restore and/or startup repair.
If you try these in safe mode and get no results, you may need to attempt to format your HDD and do a fresh install of windows.

Wireless adapter. It's causing my computer to have a black screen as well on startup? I thought about it but it's been working flawlessly for a year now. I'll check.

Edit: It might be my wireless adapter affecting my connectivity but I can't even check my internet. Like I stated in my last paragraph, everytime I start my computer it shows up as a black screen with those two icons.

It boots into Windows. I see the screen where it shows i can press F12 and go to Bios, or F9. After that it shows the Windows Icon in the middle loading my startup. AFTER that it SHOULD go to the start up screen/my password to enter for the computer, but it cuts to a black screen with "Windows 7 Premium" at the bottom middle.

The startup repair worked. Funny because I tried doing that 2 times already. Near the end it would always tell me something along the lines of, "We found the problem but can't fix it." This time it told me that it may have fixed the problem and to restart the computer. And my internet connection works again.

I have no idea what the problem was. But I am making a backup at the moment. I'm not going to go through this again. Thank you very much.
