Question Hardware requirements for PLAYING 8K video

Hello awesome community,

My brother in law is asking me to put together a media system for him. He wants to be able to play 8K videos. Not edit, just play them. I know you need a 8K capable monitor / cable etc. My questions:

What CPU would handle this? Google is giving me mixed results. Can integrated graphics play 8k?
Is 8K playback hungry for ram? How much does he need?
And the big question, does he need a dedicated GPU for 8K playback, if so, what would you recommend for future proofing?

Thanks in advance.

Even if the iGPU can handle it the mobo has to also have an 8k capable port, these things run with hardware acceleration so the CPU will barely be touched.
The main thing would be bandwidth, the system would have to be able to shuffle all of this data from the source to the output.
I mean google recommends at least ten times the bandwidth of 1080p for the lowest framerate (movies would be mostly at 24FPS) and that's for uploading them to youtube, having the actual mastered file would be even more than that.
