  • My build as follows:
  • MSI B450 Mortar Motherboard
  • TeamGroup Delta R 8GB DDR4 3000MHz (2x8)
  • Ryzen 5 2600
  • GTX 1660 Videocard
  • WD 3TB HDD

This keeps happening frequently, I keep getting half of my RAM in hardware reserve according to Resource Monitor. I keep switching it out to different DIMM slots and sometimes it works, like having 500MB of Hardware Reserve instead of 8GB. But recently, i fI have this problem and I switch the RAMs in different slots, the PC just won't boot while the EZ debug led on mobo lights up on RAM.

I dunno what's causing the problem, some sources say it's the RAM itself, the DIMM slot, corrupted drive files, or the BIOS. I already flashed the BIOS to the latest version but the problem still persists. Any way to troubleshoot and fix this further?

2800 is an odd frequency for Ryzen RAM. I would reset your BIOS to defaults and let the RAM run at 2133 to start with.

I reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS and set the frequency to 2933 MHz. I tried earlier with 2133 MHz and wouldn't boot properly. I also rearranged the positions of the RAM. It's at 500MB Hardware Reserved for now

turn on xmp/docp memory profile?
exact model of the ram?

Exact model is TF4D48G3000HC16CBK
