Question Hardware reserved memory - Lenovo G550

Hello;

I have Lenovo G550 running Windows 10 pro. I

t had 3gb ram installed. I have replaced the 1gb with 2gb today but I got a problem.
After installing the new ram, nothing has changed. Windows still uses not 3gb as it used to be but 2.9gb.

The reset of ram is reserved under the title "Hardware reserved memory",

I tried all the available online solutions but nothing worked.

The only solution I couldn't check was changing the GPU shared memory from the BIOS. My BIOS is phoenix without any options to change the VGA card shared memory.

I tried to add screenshots here but couldn't.

There is always some 'hardware reserved'.
Especially if you are using an integrated GPU.

That is simply the system using what it needs.

This applies to ALL systems.
It is not a "problem" to be "fixed".

I think if it's allocating less than 40mb for reserve while on 3gb ram and raise it to 1.1gb after upgrading the ram to 4gb there should be a problem. Especially that my other HP device is allocating less than 500mb under the same circumstances.
