Can any1 help me with my hardware reserved memory ?

i have a fx 8320 working v well on a gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 and all drivers are up to date. I had 2x4 gb corsair vengeance 1866 and i got another kit of 2x4 of the same brand (tested them together they work fine even if i mix them in all possible combinations) the problem is that half of that goes into hardware reserved and i dont know what to do. Can anyone help ? Any ideas why that might happen ?

Solution
Last time I saw this issue one memory channel on a board had died! I could see 8GB in 2 x 4GB stick but only use 4GB. When moving both sticks to channel A I could use all 8 when putting them both on channel B the PC did not even start.

I got win 7 ultimate thats 192 max so thats not the problem

I had similar issue 2 weeks ago with 4 sticks but only 1 would work (4 gigs in BIOS, same with Windows). I've been rocking 2 sticks for years tho. So I knew those 2 worked.

Only thing I did was to raise CPU/NB voltage. Raised it a little, 2 sticks worked, raised it a bit more, 3 sticks. But had trouble with the 4th. I got fed up and just put the voltage on auto, all sticks registered. I think it is running at 1.4 volts now (@auto), a bit high but I don't care. It works. From what I've read, 1.35v is the max safe zone.

Yea this seemed to be the problem i got my cpu out cleaned it i was like "maybe its contacts are messed up" placed it in got the ram sticks out and tested 1 channel at a time with 2 sticks and when i powerd it on, channel 2 was powering up good, but with the sticks on channel 1 the pc would not boot so i took the rams out even tho they were clean i cleaned them a bit more placed them all 4 in again and got 12 gigs out of 16 working after like 2 hours of cleaning god knows what (the pc is perfectly clean like spotless, dustless) still 12... got angry smaked the PC booted and guess what all 16 are working. I think either the motherboard is going to die or the sockets are done. Its in perfect balance atm so until i get a new motherboard i'm not going to mess with it or open it or anything.
