[SOLVED] Hardware Reserved RAM + Channel Issue

If I check my memory under task manager it shows that my system has 16GB of RAM, but 8.1GB is listed as "hardware reserved".
In the BIOS it also shows that I have 16GB (2x8).

I've also notice a "channel" issue, in the bios it says my RAM is single channel, but when I run CPU-Z it says that it's dual channel.

I've checked to make sure that I have the sticks in the right slots and I've tried unchecking maximum memory in MSConfig, but that also didn't help.

Any ideas why half of my memory would be hardware reserved and why the BIOS would list it as single channel while cpu-z says it's dual?

full system spec?
was the 2x8 ram from 1 kit?

Took out both sticks of RAM and swapped them around today and that seems to have solved the issue for me.
