Question Hardware Riddle

I would love the community's input to help me find the correct machine. The Dell Optiplex Micro may be the answer, but I'm unclear if the older generations have the ability to handle the 2nd requirement in the list below. Something like this: Dell Optiplex 7050 Micro i5-7500T
Requirements:
1) Small and compact - under 10" x 4" x 10"
2) Ability to mirror the hard drive so if one fails, the other immediately takes over(write/read speed is not critical)
3) Older generation for price point - Want to be under $200

Im using a Optiplex USFF and would like to install new SSDs and create redundancy. This machine can accept a M2 drive and a Sata Drive. Is it possible to set up a RAID 1 configuration so that if one drive fails the other immediately takes over? Edit: TIME is my main concern. Downtime is a...

1) I added a 3rd dimension
2) Oh yeah! Ive read through it several times and its unclear to me on if the machine can handle this which is why Im asking for support from the community on finding the right machine for the job.
3) I know what NAS is, but I'm not experienced with it. I'm not opposed to it, but would love to hear that there is one single machine that meets my requirements.
