[SOLVED] Has Anyone tried using a Gigabyte GTX 2070 on a Alienware Arura

Hello,

Today I was excited to finally pick up a GTX 2070 to upgrade from my GTX 970. However when I swapped out the GPU's (With everything up to date) during the post screen, beeps start (And go ever 30 secs or so) monitor then goes black a few seconds after the first beep and loses signal. I can swap a my 970 back in without a problem.

I do have the full 875w Power Supply, as well tried different power cable configs with both the 6 and 8 pins.

I checked the Ports and the Specs for the PCIe are 2.0 so they should be compatible with the GTX 2070. I tried to reinstall the Graphics drivers but no luck.

Anyone have any advice?

I assumed youe meant RTX 2070...
What's the PSU model #?
How old is it?
Download the latest Nvidia drivers for your GPU.
Download and run DDU in safe mode.
Select Clean and Shutdown button.
Remove power cable from PSU.
Press power button for 20 seconds.
Remove the old GPU. Make sure the PCIe slot is clean of dust, then install new GPU.
Make sure GPU is properly seated. Connect the PCIe power to the GPU.
Connect power cable to PSU.
Power on.
Install the latest Nvidia drivers.
