Has motherboard USB short circuit protection?

Hello Everyone,
My motherboard is Assrock b75 Pro3-M, and I would like to know if it has USB short circuit protection?

most motherboards, and that includes your one doesn't have short circuit protection. Best protection you can get is a fuse in the usb device. Through the event of overcurrent through a motherboard is highly unlikely, it isn't worth worrying about.

I have one more question. Has my Assrock b75 Pro3-M any USB ower current protection?

Why I am asking? Because I often programm toys like arduino and microcontrollers and usualy power my devices from USB( in case of arduino )

nope, no over current protection, there is only one solution, is to buy an adapter that is male-female (USB) that is designed for short circuit/overcurrent protection. They shouldn't be too expensive and don't have a 100% success rate either, just added protection in case of damage.
