Sequence of events:
1. Finished game in CSGO. Quit game to desktop. Everything perfectly fine. Take my dog out for 5 minutes. Come back in and my PC is frozen and nothing works.
2. Turn off PC by holding down power button. Turn back on. Windows symbol appears and freezes.
3. Turn off in same manner as before. Turn back on. Monitor sees no signal whatsoever but computer is on (lights on, keyboard and mouse lit up, etc...).
4. I try same sequence again. This time it boots to a black screen with a flashing cursor.
5. I manage to get to BIOS after restarting a few more times. I’m able to explore BIOS for about 30 seconds before everything freezes again.
6. I turn off pc in same manner as before. Turn off power supply and unplug. Wait 5 minutes and turn everything back on. Still same issues.
I have tried this multiple times. Now when I turn my PC on my monitor does not recognize a signal whatsoever but the PC is turning on. I have tried disconnecting the SSD with the same results.
What in the world happened? Is this a bad motherboard? I just got it like 3 months ago. My processor is a i7-8700k.
