Has my PC just died?

I was playing a game on my PC when suddenly it completely turns off as if there was a power outage, as this happpened I quickly went to my TV and my brothers Xbox to see that everything is still switched on. I tried switching the PC back on by the case power button and it does not turn on, however my motherboard light is still on as well as my mouse light. What has happened to my system? Is it that my PSU had just died or what?

System specs:
i5 4690K
Asus z97-a
hyper x fury ram 2x4gb
r9 380
cooler master v550 gold certified psu

If you take the gpu out can you boot using igpu? My guess is the PSU has died but am trying to rule out a gpu problem

The computer won't turn on at all, I do think the psu has died. I have no other power supply with me either and I can't really check till I get a new one

Lookup the PSU paperclip test, give it a go. It can't prove a PSU is ok but it can prove one is dead

is it 100% certain if it doesn't work it is dead? I will try now
