Hey,

I received my Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Gaming OC this week. Well I wondered it is worth it to go overclocking?

I was able to increase the core clock by 150 mHz before it crashed, the memory has not yet increased. If I increase the core and memory clock without increasing the voltage and power target, does this gpu last less longer?

the volt stayed the same and the temps went from 67 to 70

Thanks

By the title of the Video card it appears that this card comes already overclocked (OC in title) so whilst you can gain some improvement by overclocking yourself given how conservative the vendors usually are it wont be anywhere near the amount that standard 2070 non-overclocked versions would. Unless you are not getting great performabce from this card i wouldnt bother overclocking it any further.

Your card has specs;

1740 MHz in OC mode
1725 MHz in Gaming mode

There stock non OC version runs at;
1620 MHz

You are already overclocked !!!

Typically the higher the voltage the higher the risk and the higher the temperatures, a general rule of thumb for overclocking....
