Has this monitor been incorrectly advertised?

The monitor in question is the ViewSonic LCD Monitor VX724 DVI 17"



seller lists it as "1280 x 1024 (SXGA) native resolution" dont really know what that means... but then he goes on to say that it is "720p resoloution"

is this just a misprint were he thinks its 7720p but really hasnt got a clue and its actually 1280 x 1024?

looked the monitor up online and it says its 1280 x 1024 res

Yeah, it would be incorrectly advertised.

720p generally means 1366x768 or 1280x720. Since the monitor's resolution is 1280x1024 it is capable of displaying at 720p.
