Yes. Only when rendering in Sony Vegas pro. I would use all 16 gb.

No, never. Even at 4k, witcher used 5848 mb and that's the most i have seen in my 40+ games in steam.

No, a 980 ti is not fast enough to max out witcher 3 @ 4k. You will need sli for sure.

My point is if there are people who have 8gb/16 ram and have used more than 8gb in gaming cause i have 8gb and bought 16gb before some days

if you're just gaming, 8GB is enough. if you're doing other things (recording, streaming etc) then 16 is recommended.

actually if you are working on high detailed raw images with high DPI you can use all the memory you can get ... there is no limit to it.

I only want it for gaming but i think i need 16gb cause cause cod AW uses 7gb and when i tryed to disable virtual memory when I started a match the game crashed...
