So I have a revised list of custom parts that I could build a rig with or also another list but built by a UK company - PCSpecialist.co.uk. I have zero experience in building except for research on-line so ideally I would like your opinion on whether I should build on a MB that I am unfamiliar with or get the UK company to build it (I prefer my own parts that I've picked though). PSU is 850w because I might be upgrading to SLI 780s at a later date.

I will be using this rig for gaming/recording and rendering.

I think everything is good in your custom build except you should remove the 120gb and put in a 1TB,2TB, or 3TB Hard Drive. Also, I really don't think you need that cpu cooler. I would rather go with cooler master h100i. Also make your dvd drive into a blu-ray
