Anyone know if the 5960x will have a laptop version coming out soon? The GTX980 already has their "m" version out, and I really would love to have a laptop with more than 4 cores. I swear it seems like laptop CPU's have not changed in 2 years. Every time I go on custom laptop sites like XOTIC PC or Alienware (very desperately) they have all had the same crappy 4900 series quad core CPU's.

How long til an 8 core comes out for laptop? I heard some very minor speculation about "Broadwell" being a late 2015 mobile version of the 5960X but nothing really

issue with intel is there brodwell refresh had such a high defect rate it took almost another year for intel to get the 14mm chip up to spec. this has cause the haswell/brodwell and skylake to run over each other. there may not be a haswell-e chip there may not be a brodwell reshresh. you may have to wait till end of the year for skylake.

And will Skylake be a 6+ core processor? Hopefully 8 core? It'd be real nice to get away from those !@$ty quad cores that have been around for what could only be 100 years in computers
