Haswell-E vs Broadwell-E

Will upgrading from a i7-5820K Haswell-E to a i7-6850K Broadwell-E be worth it? Also can my ASUS X99-A LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard handle the new 6th generation CPUs? I know its a 2011-v-3 chipset but its a version 1 not 2. The only major advantage I know is the PCI lanes, instead of x16 & x8 on my Haswell I can run both of my http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202129 at x16 but I don't think I'll see a big difference.

I would not recommend it because the performance difference is so little.

The PCIe lanes would only benefit dual Titan X(P) in SLI. No card today except the Titan X(P) uses more than PCIe x8 bandwidth.

The single thread rating is the most important score here as either is plenty powerful enough in multicore.

The 5820K overclcoks more than the 6850k so I wouldn't suggest the upgrade.
