haswell vs skylake? upgrade for gtx 960 4gb???

First of all now i have fx 6300 with 8 gb ddr3 ram single plate, and bottleneck my gtx 960 4gb... and i want to do some upgrades...
what is best cpu and mobo combo to squeeze max fps from gtx 960 4b and stable fps? haswell or skylake cpu's??

P.S.
i have tight budget for cpu around 220$ and mobo not much than 125usd... or offer me some best combo for around 350$ + - ...

I5-4690k and a MSI Krait Z97 Motherboard, can't beat it for the price (right around 310 dollars I think)

You could probably pick up a second hand Pentium on a Haswell board for peanuts and it would do the job.

Save your cash and do a proper upgrade when you have more $$$

that i5-4690k and the MSI pcmate will do a great job and a decent overclock with a cheap aftermarket cooler like a CM 212 evo.
