have 7900gtx should i step up to 7905GX2

I recently purchased a system from Velocity Micro with a core 2 duo 6700 chip and a 7900gtx card on the 965 chipset. I could have gotten the 7950gx2 for slightly more but didn't fully get the difference. I could step up with evga's step up program. The question is would it really make a great difference to my gaming experience. I just got Company of Heroes. I have a dell 2007wfp monitor at 1680 x 1050. The other option would be to wait for the G80 card. If it's available in early november I could still step up. Doesn't sound like it will be. Thanks!

You wont notice any difference between 2 cards if you play with that resolution (1600x1050) so dont waste your money on a 7950gx2

Agreed. Stay with that card, plenty of power for that resolution.

Even if it wouldnt be it wouldnt be worth it. Check out the VGA charts in tomshardware. The 7950GX2 performs less than a 7900GTX actually.
