It needs to be partitioned and formatted before Windows can use it or see it in Windows Explorer. You can manage disks in Windows Disk Management.

Windows key -> DISKMGMT.MSC -> Enter

Find your SSD (if it's not there then there is an installation problem). Right click the SSD and partition it, then format it to NTFS. It should show up in Windows Explorer and if it does then it should also show up in the Windows installation program.
