Hey everybody, I bought my CPU off Amazon, it's the 12700k. It says that it has 8P cores and 4E cores, didn't even notice it tell 2 hours ago but it says my CPU is running 16P cores in the latest version of HWMonitor. Not that I'm complaining about it but, Why? How? When?

And I'm running a stable overclock on the same CPU at 5187MHz P cores and 3990MHz on E cores and till just recently it decided to get to the point where my system froze up a few times while gaming.

I got the MPG Coreliquid K360 on it and the CPU still reaches up to 200f.

Any help you guys can give me or if you need more info, please, let me know.

Are you just exploring overclocking or is it your long-term plan?

200 F is 93 C. I'm not sure I'd be alarmed at that when overclocking a 12700K. Those CPUs aren't going to loaf.....they are going to wind up toward the limit of the available cooling.

You should be able to find out if the CPU has been throttling easily enough.

I was exploring at first, like 5ish years ago, but I got the hang of most of it. What about the system freezes?
