That is what I'm thinking of assembling, my budget is approximately $1,500 but i would like to go under budget so I've assembled this list. As this is my first time building a computer, there is a good chance I picked a bad part or something so can someone help my list?

UPDATE: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kenichiwa/saved/4xrt A friend of mine said that i didn't really need the i7 processor and could settle for the i5. I did just that because it was easier on my budget, but on the other hand, i also chose to get a new mouse.

UPDATE: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3BEUA Decided to get a slightly different graphics card and a different mouse.

UPDATE: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3BSsC Changed my cooler.

UPDATE: Probably my final build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kenichiwa/saved/4xrt

the 4770 isn't overclockable but the z87mobo is for overclocking

2x 4gb ram leaves you room for future expansion. 4 x 2gb doesn't

a 120gb ssd is more than enough just to put Windows on - so the pc boots up quickly.

a 500w power supply will run the pc. Get something made by Seasonic eg Antec HCG 520M

That's the core stuff

Do you think this cooler would be fine? http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-ea650platinum

Also i want an extra cooler because my room in the summer becomes insanely hot, even with the AC on so I don't want to risk overheating.

I meant PSU and it is a Antec EA-650 Platinum.

I changed out the cooler and saved like 20 bucks, thanks :D
