I recently ordered to parts and realized that my new motherboard does not have an OEM slot, and my operating system is on my OEM hard drive as well as basically all my programs. I do however have 2 additional SATA hard drives.

Is there any way to transfer my operating system and programs from my OEM hard drive to one of my SATA hard drives or do I have to do a fresh install?

What do you call an OEM slot? That is not the correct term. I suspect you mean a PATA connector.

Does your old machines have a SATA connector? Perhaps you can use Ghost to transfer everything from the old drive to a new SATA drive.

However, I suggest you consider a fresh install. That way you can have an operating system with the just the drivers for your new motherboard (no baggage from the old motherboard).
