Have an old hardisk with windows installed but want files from it .

hey guyzz i bought a new PC which has a nice hard disk . but my question is can i recover photos from the old hardisk which has a windows installed via usb cable???

yes. boot the new system, plug in the old drive and it should, for all purposes, be treated like a thumb drive by the running OS (new system). you can then use explorer to browse and copy files from one to the other.
provided thee data is not encrypted
