Have an older desktop HP p6110f and want oto add a 2 or 4 port usb 3.0 pcie expansion card....is this at all possible?

Need to know if my desktop HP Model p6110f is capable of receiving a 4 port usb 3.0 pci expansion card and working and if so will the one below worK?

Unless the PC is running Windows 8 (unlikely) you'll also need a third-party USB 3.0 driver because Windows 7 & earlier versions don't have USB 3.0 support built-in.

The driver has to be supplied either by HP (unlikely as your PC is too old) or by the card manufacturer in your case.

To summarize, the card will physically fit, but without a USB 3.0 driver the USB 3.0 ports will only operate at USB 2.0 speed.
