Please keep it to 1 thread
I need a 8 pin male plug converter for MSI B550 MOTHERBOARD and I have TR2 600W psu.

The two 2× 4 pin male Does not match the 8pin female. Each pin has a a different shape either square or square/oval bellow are each cords shape

1st 4pin is ○■
B ■○
2n male 4 pin is t○○
B○○

The 8 Female pin is Top ■○○■
Bottom ○■■○
Circles for the oval shapes
So i need something to convert the above 6 pin to 8 pin with the above format

Solution
The cable you want has a motherboard connection that will be labeled cpu or eps and is 4+4pin. The psu connection doesn't matter at all, and the 6+2pin is for gpu only. You cannot adapter them to fit as the power and grounds do not line up.

You need to only use the supplied 4+4, and it's keyed to connect together before adding to the motherboard. You may be plugging it in backwards, the reason it doesn't fit. The connector will be in the very top left of the motherboard.

The only other possibility is a supplementary gpu power connection, usually on the right side of the motherboard somewhere under the 24pin mains. That header only needs to be used when using multiple gpus, it replaces the pcie 75w feed with direct psu power instead...

But they do not fit in any configuration as . One of the 4 pins has all oval shaped pins that do not match. And the 2 pin does not match either end.

Then you would use a full 6+2 gpu plug, not the cpu/eps, and you'd need a psu with 6x 6+2pin gpu, most being 750w and up, as that'll be needed for multiple gpu usage.

Okay so its the 4 +4 ins. But each pin has either a Square shape or like square/oval shape. And one of the 4 pin male, is all ovals wich doesnt match. Above is shoing what each plugs shape layout

That's normal for many 4+4 pin connectors, the rounded pins will fit into a square hole.
So ur saying I can just use the 2 4 pins The shape doesn't matter. Awsome thanks
