I bought this item off eBay for not a lot a while back for a specific need. Just dug it out again and I think I was duped. Advertised as USB 3 but I don't think it is ;-)

It never really worked when I plugged USB 3 devices in, although USB 2 worked okay. ChipGenius identifies it as USB2 hub although it's suggesting it's plugged into a USB3 port - which it is...

Do you have Powershell installed?

If so try running the Get-PnPDevice cmdlet at the PS> prompt.

Copy from this post:

Get-PnPDevice

and paste at the prompt.

Likely a long list will result but you may be able to get more information about the hub.
