Hi, I have the M.2 960 SSD from SAMSUNG.
I configured the BIOS in order to run this SSD as explained here by calvin7: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3460538/nvme-installation-asus-z270f-rog-strix.html
I also set the port to PCIE mode only on my mobo and then updated the driver from the manufacturers website.
The results are extremely fast but I'm not sure whether the read/write speeds are at their best performance. I searched google for a tool to check the speeds and found ANVIL utilities. The results are in the link below and I can't make full sense of them. Hope some can interpret and advise if there is room for improvement.
