Have i fried my gpu?

Hi one day while using my gtx 960 suddenly it made a weird sound then i saw smoke coming out of the 8pin power connector from the gpu.
So my question is can i fix it in anyway? The fans still spin but i have tried to use it again in multiple pcs but nothing happens.

It could be psu or the card.
You cave to try it out

If you tried in multiple pc’s I’d say it’s dead with no chance of fixing.

Now the question is did the gpu just die, did it take the psu with it or did the psu die taking the gpu and possibly other parts with it? You are going to have to try swapping parts but don’t put the psu in another pc because if it has died it could damage that system too.

Im new here sorry for accidentally downvoting one the answers but the only thing that broke was the gpu.

No worries. Ok well that old 960 is just a paperweight now.
