I brought my self a brand new geforce 6800 he other day and in order to intall it I had to remove my watercooled Radeon9800 pro. This meant dissmantling the watercooling kit. I acidently turned the CPU water block upside down while I was taking it out and this spille the contents over the motherboard. I moped it up and did not turn on the computer for about an hour after.

Now when I turn on the computer there is nothing, just and blank screen and no beeps. Although everything appears to power up ok. I have tried a different graphics card and still nothing.
My motherboard has uguru and the code it freezes on is 90...however the manual doesnt list this code. What is the most likly cause? Have I [-peep-] the motherboard? Or the CPU? Anyone got any ideas as to the cause?

Tried clearing the CMOS?

I some went in to the IDE slot and I think a little went on the the RAM which I promply took out and dried (there were only a few drops. Im going to take out the motherboard tommorrow andtry and rebuild the entire system, see if that works. Its just a little difficult because the northbridge and CPU are watercooled.

Did you pull the plug from the wall before doing that??? Some power remain on the motherboard even if the power is turned off. So yes, you might have killed it.

-Always put the blame on you first, then on the hardware !!!

De-ionised water with antifreeze. Im going to check the RAM on this system to make sure thats ok. I would send the board back to Abit, but doesnt removing thier northbridge chip invalidate the warrenty?
